Electric van rental in Nanaimo — opening soon.

A depot on Bowen Rd is on the way for Vancouver Island. It isn't open yet — here's exactly what that means, and what's already available.

Available today

Real delivery to Nanaimo, right now.

Our Bowen Rd site in Nanaimo is still being set up, so there's no depot pickup here yet. What's real today: on weekly and longer rentals, we deliver a van from our Kamloops depot to your address on Vancouver Island. Same fleet, same rates, same charging-and-roadside terms as picking up in Kamloops — the logistics of getting the van to the Island are on us.

That logistics piece is genuinely different for Nanaimo than for our other locations, and worth being upfront about: getting a van to Vancouver Island means a BC Ferries crossing from the Lower Mainland, which is a real scheduling and cost factor we account for before your rental starts. It doesn't affect the van once it's on the Island — every model in the fleet is sized for Nanaimo's local routes and everyday distances — but it does mean delivery timing depends on ferry sailings, so we build in a little lead time when booking.

Once the Bowen Rd depot opens, Nanaimo gets the same walk-in pickup and daily rentals Kamloops has today, with no ferry dependency for local pickup. Until then, weekly+ delivery is a working option, not a placeholder.

Why Nanaimo

Island logistics, built around the ferry.

Nanaimo is Vancouver Island's main freight and distribution gateway — most goods and equipment headed anywhere on the Island pass through it first, off a BC Ferries sailing from the mainland. That makes it a natural fit for a depot: once vans are based here, local pickup and short-hop Island routes (Nanaimo to Parksville, Duncan, or up toward Port Alberni) sit well within range for every model in the fleet, with no ferry involved for the rental itself. The ferry only matters for getting a van onto the Island in the first place — which is exactly what our current delivery service already handles for weekly+ bookings, while the Bowen Rd depot gets built out.
